Vindö Bilgalleri is no ordinary car museum. Here, the overall theme is modern classics and over 70 cars from almost 20 car brands are represented.
A visit to the car gallery takes you on a journey from the mass-produced cars of the 1950s to the most exclusive launches with the latest model years. Here you can see for yourself how design and technology have evolved over time! Maybe you’ll even see the very cars you’ve been looking for over the years? In our car museum there are both complete series – such as a copy of each Porsche 911 Turbo generation produced – and very special gems, such as the infamous DeLorean known from the Back to the Future films.
The cars at Vindö Bilgalleri belong to various private collections and are on display to the public with open tours for an entrance fee. In the area, you can also enjoy incomparably good ice cream creations and Neapolitan pizzas at Glassvillan close to Vision Vindö.
The DeLorean DMC-12 is one of the most iconic cars in automotive history. Produced by the DeLorean Motor Company between 1981 and 1983, it was known for its futuristic stainless-steel body and distinctive gull-wing doors. Despite its striking design, the car struggled with performance and reliability issues, leading to the company’s downfall.
However, the DeLorean found immortality in pop culture as the time machine in Back to the Future. Today, it remains a cult classic, with enthusiasts restoring and preserving these unique vehicles as a symbol of 1980s nostalgia and ambition.
