The locals behind this project, or...

The idea behind our site is to influence people to explore, enjoy and understand Stockholm and Sweden. Who we are is not that important, it’s what we do here that defines us.

I am as Swedish as it gets; my roots trace back to the great dark forests of Dalecarlia. I am a patriot and hope more people experience what we have in Sweden. Our way is not like everyone else; we are a little different yet very much what you wish for.

Questions, answers and clarifications!

This section provides answers to common questions, clarifies details, and offers helpful explanations. Browse through to find quick solutions and insights on frequently asked topics.

Do you receive any compensation from anyone listed on your site?

No we don’t, in fact we do this simply because we can and very proud of our capitol.

Can we influence you to recommend us in any way?

No, you can’t. We decide what is published here or not. The only way a recommendation can find its way here is if it offers something extra and we think it fits the purpose of this website.

Do you make money on this site?

Not really, we make money by having ads on our site… the amount we get from that buys us coffee, and on a good month, an ice cream to go with the coffee.

Is this site AI generated?

No, nearly everything written here is our own work, and it reflects our opinion. Occasionally, we might use AI for research or to enhance our English writing, but not beyond that.

Have you actually been to all the places and restaurants listed on your site?

Yes, we have! As two contributors who have lived in Stockholm for a long time, we’ve had plenty of time to explore the city. However, we also regularly check with trusted friends and reliable sources to stay up-to-date with the latest recommendations and hidden gems.

Are you planning to expand this site into a commercial business, selling merchandise, sponsor packages, and other products?

No we don’t… this is not what we intended to do with Go2Stockholm

Is this the only thing you do, working with this site?

No, we have normal or call it regular jobs just like most people!

Can we make a donation, to keep up the work?

No, we have been thinking about it as we would like to pay external contributors… however we are not there yet.
